    Norsk Bergverksmuseum forvalter det nasjonale kulturminnet Kongsberg Sølvverk, bestående av totalt 13 bygg i Hyttegata 1 og 3 på Kongsberg. De fleste byggene er vernet eller fredet. Dagens oppvarming er i hovedsak basert på elektrisitet, med elkjel og biooljekjel som reserve i enkelte bygg. Dette medfører høyt strømforbruk og begrensninger i oppvarming av enkelte publikumsarealer. Prosjektets mål er å etablere et mer fleksibelt og helhetlig energisystem, tilpasset den verneverdige bygningsmassen. Løsningen baseres på GeoTermos-teknologi med sesonglagring av varme i berggrunn, kombinert med styringssystemer og termisk lagring. Tiltaket skal redusere bruk av høyverdig elektrisitet, avlaste strømnettet i topplastperioder og bidra til en mer bærekraftig energiforsyning. Prosjektet gjennomføres i eksisterende og delvis fredede bygg, noe som stiller særskilte krav til planlegging, risikovurdering og gjennomføring. Prosjektet er delt i to totalentrepriser og kunngjøres i separate konkurranser: • Energisentral og omlegging til vannbåren varme • Brønnpark og utvendige rørføringer Denne konkurransen omfatter leveranse av brønnpark og utvendige rørføringer. Arbeidene berører eksisterende bygningsmasse kun ved innføring av rør til teknisk rom i produksjonsbygget, som utgjør grensesnittet mot entreprisen for energisentral og omlegging til vannbåren varme.

Prosjektets mål er å etablere et mer fleksibelt og helhetlig energisystem, tilpasset den verneverdige bygningsmassen. Løsningen baseres på GeoTermos-teknologi med sesonglagring av varme i berggrunn, kombinert med styringssystemer og termisk lagring. Tiltaket skal redusere bruk av høyverdig elektrisitet, avlaste strømnettet i topplastperioder og bidra til en mer bærekraftig energiforsyning. Prosjektet gjennomføres i eksisterende og delvis fredede bygg, noe som stiller særskilte krav til planlegging, risikovurdering og gjennomføring.
