- Xenia AS is a tech start-up developing Business Intelligence (BI) solutions for hospitality industry. Founders have background from management & IT consulting. This has equipped them with a thorough business understanding and especially the essence of quality data insights, for which they have discovered lack of adequate software solutions within hospitality sector. The collaboration of both parties is an optimal mixture of expertise to bring forth the first proper end-to-end BI product. Their expertise allows to integrate and efficiently use information from all available data sources by implementing the Extract, Transform and Load ("ETL") processes that enable various data to "speak the same language". Data is collected in the data lake and used to create high-quality insights that give the decision makers holistic overview of their business. Data that is collected is not only internally generated, but comes from external sources as well in the form of STR reports, weather forecasts, city-wide events and other, that also have material effect on future performance of hotel operators. This represents the main difference with respect to competitors, since forecasting of future performance and decisions with respect to optimal resource allocations are not made only based on historical figures, but rather utilize real-time data as well. The result of it is drastically improved performance by maximizing key metrics in hospitality such as Revenue Per Available Room ("RevPAR") and reduction of costs through increased operational efficiency.
