Forzasys was founded in 2014 as a spinoff from Simula Research Laboratory. The Forzify platform has provided live streaming of elite football games in Norway and Sweden since 2017, and enable users to watch full games, highlights and summaries, search for events, share events on social media and creating their own videos. The overall idea is to create a one-system-to-rule-them-all removing redundant components and functionality, reducing manual labour, and serving all consumers from the same system. In particular, the project aims to research and develop a system for efficient and integrated management of sports video content, including metadata for the video, athletes and users, used by people around the sport and by supporters, for both game analysis and entertainment/content consumption. Together with researchers from SimulaMet, we improve workflows and make videos and data easily accessible for search and sharing. This includes automating parts of the production workflows using AI where we seek solutions for automatic clipping, thumbnail selection, event detection, smart cropping, text generation, clip classification, etc. using technologies like large language models, generative and/or convolutional neural networks and so on. Such AI-bases functionality will largely cut the need for manual operations. For example, to create a teaser to be published on social media, media production personell usually spend a lot of time to search for content, download content, manually select and clip segments, potentially add effects, dynamically crop the video (to the social media aspect ratio), generate the video, and upload to produced compilation to the platform. Our goal is to make the system perform all operations from here to the end - "generate a video of all the goals from last week and publish at Instagram, Facebook and TikTok" - all in one operation.

Forzasys was founded in 2014 as a spinoff from Simula Research Laboratory in collaboration with UiT to enable new possibilities for exposure of sports video through modern technology. The Forzify platform has provided live streaming of elite football games in Norway and Sweden since 2017, and enable users to watch full games, highlights and summaries, search for events, share events on social media and creating their own videos. Two other systems targeting elite football clubs, pmSys and Bagadus, provide monitoring of athletes' health and training load, and video analysis to give players feedback in real time. Much of the new functionality is R&D supporting new kinds of live video import combined with both playback and tagging. In addition we have added VR playback of generated panorama videos to the project. Bagadus and pmSys have previously existed as their own separate systems but are now being integrated. The project aims to research and develop a system for efficient and integrated management of sports video content, including metadata for the video, athletes and users, used by people around the sport (analysis) and by supporters (entertainment). Together with researchers from Simula we improve workflows and make videos and data easily accessible for search and sharing. The main aim in this project is a deepening and widening of the metadata and video content which can be handled by the system.

    sammendrag:
Gastrointestinal (GI) diseases are largely influencing quality of life with almost 3 million new GI cancers per year. The mortality is about 65%, but it is heavily influenced by early detection of neoplasia, where a 1% increase in detection can decrease the risk of cancer with 3%. For example, colon cancer is the third most common cause of cancer mortality, and it is a condition where early detection is important for survival, i.e., going from a low 10-30% 5-year survival probability if detected in later stages (III-IV) to a high 90% survival probability in early stages (I-II). Screening on a regular basis is therefore recommended, and the Norwegian Government has therefore decided to implement a national bowel screening program for 55 year old citizens starting from 2019 and providing full coverage by 2024. Colonoscopy will be a cornerstone in this program. This is a very important goal, but hard to reach with the current personnel and equipment. Some parts of the GI system is hard to reach with traditional endoscopy examinations like the small intestine, existing procedures does not properly scale to the recommended screening program, gastro- and colonoscopy examinations introduce discomfort for patients and the cost per examination is high. In this respect, several manufacturers now provide video capsules (pills) where the medical experts analyse the video of (parts of) the GI tract offline. This analysis, however, takes long time and going fast forward increase the probability to overlook important anomalies. Therefore, automatic analysis and anomaly detection in video capsule endoscopy (VCE) videos will be crucial for success. The goal of this project is to develop a system that combine the latest video technologies with artificial intelligence and that is able to automatically detect multiple diseases with a high accuracy. This will enable more efficient health care and allow VCE screening of larger groups of the population.
