   The goal of the project is to develop the IMPACTULATOR - a data-driven AI tool that measures and predicts the positive social and environmental impact and potential impact of early-stage startups and projects, both now, in the future, and over time. Many governments and companies are interested in sustainability, impact, and ESG. Importantly, there should be measurable and verifiable ways of defining and assessing the impact created in order to ensure that money is invested wisely. Current tools and metrics focus on established companies and not on early-stage startups where the details of methodology, products, and company culture are still being developed. Early-stage startups desiring to make a positive impact on the world need to understand their current impact level, their impact potential, and how to increase their impact. IMPACTULATOR will enable early-stage startups to: - measure and understand their current impact - track impact developments over time - have insights into how to improve their impact - use their impact score to attract investors and greater investments amounts - meet impact goals - improve impact performance communication In 2020, the Global Impact Investing Network (GIIN) estimated the impact investment market at US$715 billion. The GIIN states that "sophistication in impact measurement and management...remains a top challenge." IMPACTULATOR's advantage will be in providing a universal metric score for impact and in being a data-driven AI tool that brings together countless impact metrics and startup data to create a dynamic tool for continuous impact assessment, management, and pursuit over time. Creating a measurable way of measuring the positive social and environmental impact startups have in tandem with financial returns would greatly help investors in making impact investment decisions, especially if the tool can also be used to predict a startups impact potential and trace the possible trajectory over time.
