Løsninger som er vurdert omfatter graving, utblokking, strømping, styrt boring, fordrøyningsmagasin med og uten pumpe. På grunn av lokasjonen (lengde, totalfall, tilkomst til ledning m.m) har det blitt vurdert at minst mulig graving er fordelaktig. Ledningen ligger svært dypt enkelte plasser og det er kvikkleire i området. Dette er en skummel kombinasjon. Gravefrie metoder løser ikke problemet med fall eller overskrider oppdragsgivers budsjett.
