  Arten av anskaffelsen er konsulenttjenester i form av å bistå STAF innen IKT i pågående prosjekter og utfylle egne medarbeideres kompetanse der det er behov. Arbeidet utføres digitalt fra leverandørs kontor. For å kartlegge klimaavtrykket og andre former for miljøbelastning fra arten konsulenttjeneste, antar STAF at en konsulents klimaavtrykk og miljøbelastning vil være lik belastningen fra en gjennomsnittlig fast ansatt. Ifølge STAFs eget klimagassregnskap, er det den ansattes behov for kontorplass og utstyr, energiforbruket i bygget hen jobber i, reisevirksomhet i jobbsammenheng, og avfallsgenerering som bidrar til den ansattes klimaavtrykk og miljøbelastning. Anskaffelsens art er en konsulenttjeneste. De elementene som knytter seg til arten, altså konsulentbistand, medfører et uvesentlig klimaavtrykk og en uvesentlig miljøbelastning. STAF vil på bakgrunn av sin vurdering benytte unntaksbestemmelsen i anskaffelsesforskriftens § 7-9 femte ledd, da anskaffelsen etter sin art begrunnes å ha et klimaavtrykk og en miljøbelastning som er uvesentlig. STAF er derfor unntatt forpliktelsene om å vekte miljø 30 % eller å prioritere miljø blant de tre høyest prioriterte tildelingskriteriene.
