  Oppfølging skal gi bistand med sikte på at tiltaksdeltakere skaffer seg og/eller beholder, lønnet arbeid. Målet er at tiltaksdeltaker i størst mulig grad skal bli selvforsørget med en varig tilknytning til arbeidslivet. Oppfølging kan inneholde karriereveiledning, bistand til målrettet jobbsøking og jobbutvikling, veiledning og råd knyttet til arbeidsdeltakelse både til tiltaksdeltaker og arbeidsgivere, opplæring i arbeidsrelaterte og sosiale ferdigheter samt oppfølging og tilrettelegging på arbeidsplassen for å legge til rette for overgang til arbeid og sikre jobbfastholdelse.Dette oppfølgingstiltaket skal knyttes til Senter for jobbmestring i Trøndelag.Senter for jobbmestring (heretter kalt SFJ) tilbyr arbeidsrettet kognitiv terapi i kombinasjonmed arbeidsrettet oppfølging til mennesker med lette/moderate psykiske helseproblemer. SFJbestår av 3 terapeuter og en metodeveileder som er ansatt i NAV, som skal samarbeide med jobbspesialister i dette oppfølgingstiltaket. Totalt antall deltakere vil være 40-60 til enhver tid, noe som tilsvarer et behov på 3 jobbspesialister. SFJ arbeider ut fra kravene i Individuell jobbstøtte/Individual placement and support – videre omtalt som IPS. IPS-metoden er prøvd ut og har vist effekt for en ny målgruppe i forskningsprosjektet Senter for jobbmestring i regi av Uni Research. IPS legger til grunn at mennesker med psykiske helseproblemer som ønsker å jobbe, kan klare det såfremt de gis rett støtte og oppfølging. Den jobbrettede støtten gis integrert med arbeidsrettet terapi fra SFJ ogjobbspesialisten. Terapeut og jobbspesialist skal i tett samarbeid med deltaker være pådrivere i prosessen for å bistå deltaker i å komme ut i ordinært lønnet arbeid. Jobbspesialistenes arbeidsmetodikk skal følge kvalitetskravene for IPS.Nærmere spesifisering av krav til tjenesten fremgår av kravspesifikasjonen i konkurransegrunnlagets Del III, bilag 1.
