  Nyremedisinsk forskningsgruppe ved NTNU/St Olav sykehus og HUNT biobank ønsker å kjøpe reagenser til vår Meso Scale Discovery (MSD)-plattform for å kunne tilby forskning på ulike biomarkører. Sammen med kolleger i California har Nyregruppen NTNU mottatt midler fra Norges Forskningsråd og Nasjonalt helseinstitutt til et stort forskningsprosjekt (NYRE-TUB). Sammenhenger og nytteverdi av ulike biomarkører i blod og urin med tanke på fremtidig nyresykdom og helse vil bli undersøkt. Biologiske prøver skulle sendes til et felles kjernelaboratorium i USA, men på grunn av Schrems II-dommen i EU er dette ikke lenger mulig og vi må derfor etablere de samme analysene her i Norge.
