Utstyret/løsningen skal varsle når en pasient/bruker skal ta medisinen, varsler tjenesten om medisinen ikke blir tatt, eller ved feil og driftsmeldinger. Etter perioden på to år vil kommunene foreta en ny vurdering av markedet før eventuell utløsning av opsjon på forlengelse av rammeavtalen. Rammeavtalen gjelder for de varer som fremgår av prisskjema og kravspesifikasjon, og nært beslektede produkter og for tilfelle hvor det kan oppstår tvil om forståelsen av om en produkt er "nært beslektet" eller ikke, er det oppdragsviers kontaktperson som avgjør.
