Man har som fremtidsvisjon å implementere alle anleggene i ett overordnet system. Det er ønskelig med så flatt hierarki som mulig, dvs at overordnet SD anlegg kommuniserer direkte med PLS og undersentraler på hvert enkelt bygg. Anskaffelsens formål er å knytte til seg en aktør for å bygge opp og driftsstøtte ett skybasert SD anlegg som kan benyttes til de anlegg Kragerø kommune ønsker, det være seg eksisterende og nybygg. Anskaffelsen innbefatter også mulig opsjon på ombygging av HVAC anleggene ved Marienlyst Sykehjem.
