  Oppdraget består i å besørge busstransport i Ruteområdet, med utgangspunkt i kommunene Kristiansand, Lindesnes, Lyngdal, Farsund og Hægebostad. Oppdraget vil i Kontraktsperioden kunne bli utvidet til å omfatte Ruteproduksjon og Bestillingsruter i tilliggende kommuner, regioner og fylker med utgangspunkt i Ruteområdet. Kontrakten gjelder fra kontraktsinngåelse. Kontrakten har en varighet til og med 31. desember 2029. Oppdragsgiver har ensidig rett til å forlenge Kontrakten i en eller flere perioder, maksimalt til og med 30. juni 2032. Ved eventuelle forlengelser har Operatøren ikke krav på at Kontrakten endres. Oppdragsgiver stiller til disposisjon tomt på Jåbekk industriområde ved Mandal, og Operatør er forpliktet til å inngå avtale som nevnt i Vedlegg 5 Anleggsbeskrivelse. Øvrige depot og stasjoneringssteder som Operatør måtte finne naturlig, med nødvendige fasiliteter, vil være Operatørs eget ansvar og kostnad.
