  Statnett is extending the period for the qualification system KON-000762 Supply of 420 kV XLPE Underground Cable System, to indefinite duration. Statnett uses the system Achilles Utilities NCE as the basis for establishing bid lists for its procurement activities. Achilles Utilities NCE is a qualification system for suppliers and contractors to the utilities sector in Northern and Central Europe. Suppliers / Contractors must fulfil certain minimum qualification requirements to be qualified on the Achilles system. In addition, Statnett has established a more detailed qualification system called STATNETT STAGE 2. This has more specific qualification requirements for different types of equipment, materials and services to substations and transmission lines. Statnett will use STATNETT STAGE 2 for tenderer selection for contracts and framework agreements. If applicable Statnett will also allow their partners to enter separate agreements with the qualified Suppliers / Contractors. Only Suppliers / Contractors meeting the following criteria may apply for STATNETT STAGE 2: • Qualified via Achilles Utilities NCE (Stage 1) • Able to manufacture and deliver a 420kV XLPE AC Underground Cable Systems (Combination of Achilles codes 3.7.5 + 3.7.10 + 4.2.23) If that is in place, then please request more information about STATNETT STAGE 2 from Statnett.
