  Kjøkkenet skal strippes ned og bygges på nytt. Noe gjenbruk av kjøkkenmaskiner men i hovedsak nytt utstyr. Alle «lette» bygningsdeler innenfor berørt areal rives, samt vinduer/ytterdører fjernes. Nye vindu/døråpninger yttervegg. Hovedkonstruksjon betong. Eksisterende betonggulv fjernes, nytt gulv. Hele arealet bygges opp innenfor eksisterende bæresystem. Gulv, vegger og systemhimling. Eksisterende omsluttende vegger påfores innvendig med nye overflater. Nytt toalett, kontor, lager, kjøkken/oppvask. Nye kjøler/frys. Lager på utsiden kjøkken: Innlemmes i teknisk/ventilasjonsrom med nye brannskillende vegger og ny trapp til plan over. Sanitær og ventilasjonsinstallasjoner skal fornyes i sin helhet. Nye bunnledninger med tilkobling til eksisterende, nytt aggregat og varmegjenvinning fra kjølemaskiner. På elektro blir det ombygging av eksisterende underfordeling i hovedkjøkken, forsyning til alt kjøkkenutstyr, lys og stikk generelt og tilførsel til nytt ventilasjonsaggregat og kjølemaskiner.
