For mer informasjon om NORCE, se www.norceresearch.no Formålet med anskaffelsen er å få en profesjonell og innovativ reiserådgiver som skal bistå oppdragsgiver med å optimalisere en løsning som er med på å redusere de totale reisekostnadene og ivareta de reisendes sikkerhet. Reisebyrået bør være en totalleverandør av reiserelaterte tjenester og levere en brukervennlig og lett tilgjengelig online-løsning som tar i bruk nyvinninger innen teknologi og sosiale medier der dette er egnet. Reisebyrået skal til enhver tid fremskaffe de best egnede og mest hensiktsmessige reisealternativene, eksempelvis hurtigste, rimeligste og mest miljøvennlige måte ved reiser i inn- og utland, og tilby høy grad av tilgjengelighet og service ovenfor oppdragsgiver som helhet samt den enkelte ansatte. Omfanget av reisevirksomhet i NORCE er foreløpig estimert til følgende (merk at det er stor usikkerhet rundt disse tallene): Ca. 12 000 flyreiser årlig, fordelt på: 11 000 reiser innenlands 300 reiser i Norden 500 reiser i Europa utenfor Norden 200 reiser interkontinentalt Ca. 2 500 hotellbookinger Ca. 10 gruppe/konferansereiser (mer enn 9 personer som reiser) Omfang på leiebil er foreløpig ukjent
