Det økte omfanget er basert på behov som ikke dekkes tilfredsstillende av den opprinnelig tilbudte løsningen. Det økte omfanget dekker utvikling av nødvendig funksjonalitet i den proprietære løsningen, samt en ny webportal. Tilleggene kan betegnes som «backend» og «frontend», hvorav kun sistnevnte tillegg kan leveres av en tredjepart. Total verdi på tilleggsarbeidene, eksklusiv vedlikeholdskostnader, er ca. 2,4 millioner kroner, inkl. utvikling og prosjektledelse, der frontend utvikling er estimert til ca. 1 million kroner. Tillegget for backend må leveres av CareCom A/S som følge av at løsningen er proprietær og derfor ikke åpner for bruk av tredjepart.
