  Skedsmo Rådhus har lav takhøyde og en smal bygningskropp. Dette byr på utfordringer ved å oppfylle dagens krav til luftmengder. Bruk av lydfeller og speld på tradisjonelt vis, ville krevd mer lengde før ventilen. Ventilen måtte da blitt plassert på utsiden av bygget for å få plass. For å klare å oppfylle kravet, må kommunen gå for en løsning som lar seg bygge om, uten bruk av lydfeller og spjeld. Samtidig vil løsningen gjøre det mulig å regulere luftmengden i hver enkelt sone. Videre er kommunen avhengig av temperaturføler for varmestyring i tilluftsventilen, da det kun er plass til sentralt avtrekk, som ikke er ikke godt nok til å styre varmen i flere soner. Kommunen har sett etter mulige løsninger, bl.a Trox X-aircontrol, men har finner kun at Lindinvent som oppfylte våre behov i markedet. En stor fordel er at løsningen er fleksibel nok til å kunne tilpasses gjentatte ombygginger. Valg av leverandør (GK Inneklima) er den eneste leverandøren som leverer LindInvent i Norge. Dagens leverandør av SD-anlegg på Skedsmo Rådhus (EM Systemer) har ikke mulighet for å knytte API til systemet sitt. Derfor benyttes det GK Inneklima sitt SD-anlegg (GK Cloud) til dette. Eksisterende SD-anlegg opprettholdes på resterende bygningsmasse og tekniske anlegg.
