  Barnevernvakta har behov for en oversiktlig enkel plattform hvor klienter logges, kan jobbes med, og er enkel for neste vakt og overta, i tillegg til at vaktene kan kommunisere dersom det ikke er overlapping. Det er og behov for å kunne benytte systemet mobilt, være tilknyttet en skytjeneste, og kunne benyttes på håndholdte enheter i tillegg til stasjonære PCer. - Barnevernvakta har i dag behov for et system som håndterer postregistrering, skanning og arkivering. - Barnevernvakta har i dag behov for et system som kan kobles opp mot eksterne kilder som Folkeregisteret og Svar-ut tjenester. Barnevernvakta har behov for et system hvor det er mulig å hente ut anvendelig god statistikk tilpasset barnevernvakta, som for eksempel hvor mange treffpunkter man har i de enkelte kommuner, hvem som ber om bistand etc. - Barnevernvakta vil ha behov for opplæring i fagsystemet fra tilbyder. Løsningen skal være fullverdig fagsystem for barnevernsvakten og være utviklet i henhold til Norm for informasjonssikkerhet utarbeidet for helse og omsorgstjenester, Kommunikasjonen med fagsystemet skal være kryptert, Løsningen skal kunne aksessere via en nettleser på platformene: Windows, Apple IOS og Android, samt fra standard plattform som ivaretas av ITG. Barnevernvakten utfører i dag hovedsakelig akuttarbeid, tilsyn, kontrollbesøk, saksbehandling og posthåndtering. Barnevernvakta benytter seg i tillegg i all hovedsak kun av akutthjemlene. Det er ikke behov for hele barneverntjenestesystemet som omfatter blant annet av oppfølging av plasserte barn, utbetalingsplaner, engasjementsavtaler, henvisninger til andre offentlige instanser, vedtak og beslutninger fra hele lovverket i tillegg til mye annet. Begrunnelsen for den direkte anskaffelsen av Visma Flyt barnevernvakt, er at så vidt oss bekjent finnes det ikke andre leverandører med tilsvarende løsninger som er tilpasset barnevernvaktens funksjonsområde.
