Sandvika fjordpark skal gi Bærums befolkning et større parkområde langs fjorden for bading og annen fysisk utfoldelse året gjennom. Fjordparken vil gi Bærum et grønt preg sett fra sjøen og restaurere opplevelsen av å bevege seg i et kyst- og naturnært område i Sandvika. Parken opparbeides i to byggetrinn. Byggetrinn 1, etablert i 2017, omfattet etablering av en festplass, nytt VA-anlegg, legging av trekkerør for EL-anlegg for hele parkområdet samt mastefundamenter for ny belysning i Byaksen, ny trafo og deler av parkarealene i tilknytning til Brambanis vei. Arbeidet innebar også alle de store masseflyttingene med terrengarbeider opp til toppdekkene (jordlag og faste dekker), bl.a. med forsterkningslag for veier, opparbeidelse av nedgravd avfallsløsning, etablering av første del av kyststien i Byggetrinn 1, tilpasninger mot Sandvika stadions sørlige del, utlegging av sand over og under vann på strandarealene, etablering av trebeplantning og byggingen av et treamfi mot Kalvøyabrua. Det er en selvstendig entreprise for etablering av trær i hele parken (BT1 og BT2). Alle grønne arealer som skal beplantes må senest være klare for beplanting 01.05.2018. Plantearbeidet vil gjennomføres parallellt med etablering av parken med ferdigstillelse 01.06.2018. Det skal etableres rotvennlig forsterkningslag av prefabrikkert kassett-system for trær i Byaksen som må stå ferdig til plantetidspunktet BT2 innbefatter etablering av de resterende grønne plen- og engarealene, terrengtrapper, kanter, murer, nye trebrygger og bryggedekker, fullføring av kyststien med asfalt og andre beleggsareal, dusjområder og møblering. Det skal bygges et servicebygg sentralt i området. Det må påregnes tilpasninger mot bygget. Det pågår arbeider med etablering av to betongkonstruksjoner - en betongbrygge på pæler for montering av et stupetårn og en betongforstøtning på spunt for montering av et amfi mot Sandvika havn. Det må påregnes avdekking av bryggekonstruksjonen og bygging av amfiet over betongforstøtningen. Materialpaletten som er påbegynt i BT1 skal gjennomføres i BT2.
