Her skal ulike fagmilj\u00f8er jobbe tverrfaglig for \u00e5 utvikle nye l\u00f8sninger p\u00e5 store utfordringer innen helse og b\u00e6rekraft med tilgang til det beste og mest moderne utstyret som kreves for \u00e5 drive forskning, undervisning og innovasjon i verdensklasse.\u00a0\u00a0\n\n\n\nA complete system for materials characterization under controlled low-temperature and magnetic-field conditions, not requiring an external supply of liquid He. The system will be used for measurements of physical properties in the whole temperature range of minimum \u22642 K and \u2265300 K and at magnetic fields from 0 T up to at least 9 T. The samples will be in the form of single crystals, polycrystalline materials, powders, pellets, solid pieces and thin films, and can for example be metal oxides, inorganic materials, alloys, nanoparticles, intermetallic phases or metalorganic complexes and frameworks (MOFs).The intended applications include measurements of magnetic properties, electrical conductivity and specific heat capacity, where each measurement is estimated to be performed during a few hours, or in some cases, up to 1-2 days.
