To strengthen its laboratory infrastructure and simplify access to advanced material characterization tools, OsloMet intends to procure a new benchtop X-ray Diffraction (XRD) system. The University plans to enter into a contract with Malvern Panalytical B.V. for the procurement, installation, training and warranty of the XRD system, with an estimated net cost of NOK 738,000. The characteristics that must be covered by the XRD system are described in the annex. We are not aware that other suppliers fulfil these requirements. If there are other suppliers who satisfy these requirements, we would like feedback on this as soon as possible.
