Currently, the GPFG has holdings in seven footwear manufacturers. However, under the agreement, the contracting authority may also request investigations of other similar types of manufacturing facilities, such as textile and garment factories.\nThe investigations will provide a basis for determining whether companies\u2019 conduct can lead to exclusion or observation under the human rights criterion of the ethical guidelines.\nThe investigations may be carried out in a number of countries, including but not limited to Vietnam, Indonesia, Taiwan, Cambodia, Bangladesh and India.\nThe budget is estimated to EUR 50 000 \u2013 120 000 per year, with a maximum value of EUR 500 000 during the entire contract length of maximum four years (2+1+1).
