Sogndal kommune har behov for å kjøpe ein større hjullastar enn den kommunen har. Bruksområde av hjullastar er mellom anna snørydding, kantklypping, steinkøyring, grusing, strøing, børsting, slodding, gaffeltruck, løfting av tunge gjenstandar, køyring i terreng og tronge områder. Maskinen vil vere i beredskap, særleg i vinterhalvåret, og må ha god driftsstabilitet. Hjullasteren skal vere ny eller nyare brukt. Leverandør må kunne gjere service på maskinen. Kommunen har ein Volvo L60 som leverandør skal ta som innbytte.
