Objective Work Package 4 (WP4) in IMAROS 2 projectIn the first IMAROS project, we documented limited and poor performance of several oil skimmers when used on the new Low sulphur fuel oils. To explore potential solutions, manufacturers of oil-recovery equipment are invited to participate in basin testing their products as part of WP4 in the IMAROS 2 project.Interested companies can apply to participate in the trials in Norway and Finland.Purpose and objective of WP4:Involve mechanical recovery equipment manufacturers in order to promote development or modification of existing equipment.To collaborate with oil-recovery equipment manufacturers to explore potential solutions for developing effective oil-recovery equipment suitable for low-sulphur fuel oils.To give recommendations to the applicability of different mechanical recovery systems based on the challenging low-sulphur fuel oils gives.�To identify promising technologies and possible modifications on existing equipment.For more information on the IMAROS 2 pleas refere to the IMAROS web page https://civil-protection-knowledge-network.europa.eu/projects/imaros-2
