Description

The Norwegian Institute of Public Health (NIPH) plan to acquire molecular test for detection and/or quantification of hepatitis virus (A, B, C, D and E) certified in according to the new EU IVDR regulations that will apply from May 2025 (class D). The virology department at the Norwegian Institute of Public Health is reference laboratory for hepatitis virus in Norway, and hence offer primary, confirmational or supplementary analysis primarily to the microbial laboratories around Norway. The number of samples are generally low compared to the primary microbial laboratories, and varies over time, depending on the demand and ongoing projects. There is therefore a need for a small and flexible system, preferably with automated extraction. In this regard we would like to have information of test that are or will soon be available on the marked, as well as their specifications. This is in preparation for a tender.
