Description
Posten Bring AS (Posten) have in operation 7 letter sorting machines type Integrated Reading and Video Coding Machine (IRV), at Østlandsterminalen ØT Sorting Centre. Körber Supply Chain Logistics GmbH (KSCL), previously Siemens, delivered the IRV systems in 2007. Posten is currently working to integrate letter products and letter sorting systems in the digital value chain. All Posten sorting systems must therefore interface to Posten Central Logistics Engine Parcel Hub. It is not feasible to do these developments on an IRV platform with unsupported OS. Therefore, Posten intends to purchase the necessary OS upgrade and interfacing directly from KSCL.
