Prosjektet er på Fylkesveg 5098 i Ullensvang kommune. Fv. 5098 kryssar Krossdalselvi via bru mot Øvre Krossdalen. Dagens bru er smal og underdimensjonert for trafikken som kryssar brua. Eksisterande elementbru skal rivast, og ny elementbru med totalspenn på om lag 17 meter og breidde 5,4 meter skal etablerast. I tillegg skal fylkesvegen skal hevast mot begge endar av brua, og ein traktorveg skal oppgraderast.
