Veas-anlegget er Norges største renseanlegg. Veas Selvkost AS er eid av kommunene Oslo, Bærum og Asker. Avløpsvann fra mer enn 750.000 innbyggere i Oslo, Bærum, Asker og Nesodden blir transportert via kommunale ledningsnett og Veas-tunnelen og ut til renseanlegget på Bjerkås i Asker. Veas har om lag 95 ansatte. Veas laboratorium skal fase ut Wilab LIMS som ble implementert i 1994 og skal nå anskaffe nytt LIMS. Anskaffelsen gjelder programvare og vedlikehold.
