Sikkerhetsavdelingen i Sykehuspartner HF (CERT) benytter NIDS (Network Intrusion Detection System) signaturer for å avdekke nettverksangrep. For å effektivisere deteksjon, benyttes det signaturer utviklet og vedlikeholdt av ekstern leverandør. Sykehuspartner har per i dag 64 «ETPro Ruleset» lisenser fra Proofpoint. Disse lisensieres pr. NIDS sensor.
