OUS skal anskaffe et instrument som automatisert kan måle følgende analyser: anti-kardiolipin antistoffer IgG og IgM samt anti-ß2 Glykoprotein–I IgM og IgG. Instrumentet må også kunne måle von Willebrand antigen og von Willebrand aktivitet. OUS sin metode for von willebrand aktivitet i nåsituasjonen inneholder ikke ristocetin og oppgir linearitet ned til 19%, og OUS må ha en metode som kan måle lave, patologiske nivåer (< 10%).Det utføres cirka 2000 av både von willebrand faktor antigen og aktivitet i året.
