Description
Statnett hereby invites your company to submit an application for qualification for the procurement KON-003284 IT-solution for aFRR capacity market, as specified in this qualification document. Statnett is responsible for the procurement process on behalf of the Nordic TSOs (TSOs in Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway), and Statnett will be the formal contracting party. The Nordic TSOs will have a solidary responsibility with Statnett towards the chosen supplier. The Nordic TSOs have agreed to establish a Nordic capacity market for aFRR. It is a goal that the aFRR capacity market is operational during the first half of 2018. Statnett will on behalf of the Nordic TSOs be the Market Operator for the aFRR capacity market for the first 4 years of operation, and as part of this Statnett will also be responsible for the implementation of the necessary solution. After the first 4 years of operation the role can be transferred to one of the other Nordic TSOs.
